How Epoxy Flooring Sugar Land Works
Epoxy Flooring Sugar Land coats concrete. Most of our work is garage floors in Sugar Land and the surrounding Fort Bend County suburbs, and we also coat patios, pool decks, home gyms, shops and commercial floors. We install epoxy, polyaspartic, flake broadcast and metallic systems, and we choose the system after we have seen and tested the slab.
The Gulf Coast is hard on floor coatings in its own way. Summer heat brings hot tires into the garage, humid air and heavy rain keep slabs damp, and sunlight through an open garage door or onto a pool deck yellows coatings that are not UV stable. Each of those problems has a fix, and the fix starts before any resin is mixed.
How we work
- We come out, measure the floor, take a moisture reading and look for cracks, oil, old paint and builder sealers.
- You get a written quote naming the system, each coat, the prep steps and the total.
- Every floor is diamond ground so the coating bonds to open, clean concrete.
- Cracks, chipped joints and pits are filled before the base coat.
- In summer we start early and match the product to the slab and air temperature.
- We tell you when you can walk on the floor, move things back and park, based on the product we used.
- Any change in scope is written up for you to approve before we do it.
We coat concrete only. If a slab has a problem a coating cannot solve, such as an active leak, a crack that keeps moving or water coming up through the floor, we tell you before you spend money on it.
